A community leader in Kissimmee, Florida, Jennifer Soto most recently oversaw a $13 million operating budget in her role as chief operating officer and comptroller for a government agency. Charged with implementing all new laws and regulations within the agency, she handled tasks related to strategic planning, budget maintenance, and conflict resolution among employees. Jennifer Soto held this executive position with the Kissimmee, Florida, agency from 2012 to 2021.
She previously supported students in navigating the financial aid process as the director of financial aid at Florida Technical College. For 2 years, she worked with admissions and student services departments to meet the needs of students while helping develop various financial literacy programs and monitoring budgets.
Ms. Soto holds an associate of paralegal studies from the Interboro Institute, as well as Lean Six Sigma certifications (Yellow Belt, Advanced Yellow Belt, and Project Management). In 2020, she began pursuing coursework toward a bachelor of science in business administration at Valencia College. When she is not busy working toward her BS, she supports charitable organizations such as the Arthritis Foundation for Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis.
